Paw Fort — Terms of Service
Paw Fort is free to play, with no ads. Optional purchases buy gems — which save time on a ladder that play also reaches — and one cat family, the Guardian. Nothing you buy changes a number inside a battle, and nothing you buy is random.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By installing or playing Paw Fort you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game. Paw Fort is published by BrotherAI ("we", "us"). These terms are in addition to the terms of the app store you installed from.
2. Who may play
Anyone may play. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission before making a purchase, and they are responsible for purchases made on their store account.
3. Purchases
The whole game can be played without paying. The optional purchases are:
- Gem packs (consumable) — from US$0.99 to US$49.99. Gems are credited once, to your save on the device you bought them on; with cloud save they follow your account to your other phones. Everything gems buy can also be earned by playing.
- The Guardian (US$6.99, one-time) — the sixth cat family. It is yours for good on the same store account and returns through "Restore purchases".
- Starter Bundle (US$7.99, one-time, buyable once) — the Guardian plus 700 gems.
- Prices are shown by your store in your local currency at the moment of purchase; local taxes may apply. Your store — Google Play or the Apple App Store — charges your store account. We never receive or handle your payment details.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy, not by us. We cannot issue a refund for a purchase we never received.
- Gems and Fish are game currency. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between players.
4. Your data
Your progress, balances and settings are stored on your device. If you choose to sign in to cloud save, a copy of your progress is also kept on our server so you can continue on another phone, and you can delete it in the game at any time. The game also sends anonymous crash reports and gameplay events, which you can switch off in Settings — see the Privacy Policy.
The practical consequence is important: without cloud save, we cannot recover your progress or your gems. If you uninstall the game, clear its data, or lose the device, whatever was not covered by your own device backup is gone. With cloud save, signing in again on any phone brings back the copy last saved. Cloud save is provided as is; do not rely on it as your only copy. The Guardian can always be restored: the store remembers it, so "Restore purchases" brings it back.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the game beyond what your local law expressly permits, and do not attempt to obtain purchases without paying for them. The game and its content are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use, not sold. Some artwork is used under licence from third parties.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, add or remove features and content in future versions, and we may stop publishing Paw Fort. The version installed on your device keeps working as long as your operating system supports it, because it needs no server to play. Cloud save does need our server; if we ever stop it, we will announce it on this page in advance, and your progress on the phone is not affected.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Paw Fort is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost data, arising from your use of Paw Fort. Our total liability for any claim relating to the game is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date before the version they apply to ships. Continuing to play after that means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
